Acupuncture.

And age-old knowledge for all types of ailments, in order to help the body’s incredible ability to restore its own balance.

Inherited over 2000 years of history, acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into specific areas, points and tissues of the body to restore circulation (of energy, blood and fluids) and improve quality of life. This stimulation helps to regulate the body and bring back the normal metabolic functions, while providing an immediate relaxing and soothing effect.

Q&A

  • Although the perception of pain is relative to each individual, the needles used are so fine that they generally don't hurt. If there is any discomfort, it will only last a few seconds. Note that various sensations may be experienced. Typically heaviness, warmth, or a sense of circulation along the meridian/channel pathway is to be expected. This is a sign that the body is responding well!

  • Sessions generally last an hour. We take the time to talk and address not only the discomfort, but also its possible causes. This is followed by the insertion of needles and the use of other therapeutic tools as required (heat, GuaSha, electrical stimulation, etc.). You are then left alone to relax. It is suggested to eat before treatments. You can bring your own sports shorts and camisole, for your comfort as needed.
